about

"Thesis Music" album consists of five pieces of music I wrote and recorded as part of my PhD thesis in Arts Based research focused in transformative learning and creativity.
It is the soundtrack to my thesis research where I explored creativity, embodied learning, extra-rational ways of knowing, in contexts of health, arts, education and place.
These pieces of music are discussed through their transformative learning aspects within contexts of life and creativity during one part of the research period, and are an integral part of the thesis.
The thesis, Inhabiting Transience: Stories of Learning through Chronic Illness, the Body, Place and Creativity is in open access through the University of New England library epublications, and is copyright material. I am planning to also publish it as a book in the near future.
The CD of music is included in the submitted written thesis and is part of the creative-expressive methodology of research.
